My hamster won't eat anything else but sunflower seed. He's so picky.?

I have male teddy bear hamster(golden hamster) and I bought him about 2 weeks ago. And I bought 'Nutriphase' and 'yogurt drop' to feed him. I pour 3/4 of 'Nutriphase' into his food bowl he digs them up and gethers up all sunflower seed and takes them to his house and next day if there's no sunflower seed, he takes corn and cornflake. And then we won't eat anything else. Anyother stuff in that 'Nutriphase' like artifitial food for hamster or nutrition food and stuff. So everytime that he refuses to eat those i just filled the food bowl again with sunflower seeds and corns but now I'm really worried about his health. And I usually give him 2 of 'berry berry yogurt drop'. Is that okay that I keep giving him just corn and sunflower seed? or what should I do?

DO NOT FEED HIM NUTRIPHASE! nutriphase has a chemical in it called Ethoxyquin that gives your hammies cancer! and to get im to stop eating the fattening foods, get him these pellets that contain all of the nutrients he needs. Just go to a petstore and they can tell you what it is- if you go to petco or petsmart they feed all their rodents that.
Reply:i once had rabbits that only ate oatmeal, i added that with the rabbit food and they wouldn't eat the bunny food they would jsut eat the oat meal, maybe he just doesnt like anything buy seeds. its fine feed him what he wants and try adding fruit and veggies.
Reply:try changing food, the mixed bags-small pellets, sunflower seeds, corn+ or the just pellets. If you do keep feeding him this, try to ick out the sunflower seeds and corn for one day, in the next, out the day after that, ect... if he loses weight or still only eats the sunflower seeds, even on the days there is none(though you said he does eat other stuff if there is no sunflower seeds, so if that changes) then put the sunflowers seeds in all the time, or take him to the vet if he's unhealthy. if i were you, i'd pick out the sunflower seeds, and put the rest in, then later on give the seeds to him, in my hand or in the dishe. you might also want to try to feed him a bit less. good-luck*-*
