Red sunflower plant won't blossom?

I bought a pot of red sunflower from Jusco last year and at that time it had 3 flowers, since then it never blossom again. Is it that i need to buy another pot to put beside it so it can get pollenated? or is there any other ways to make my plant blossom with flowers?

Do you have a plant tag for this plant? How tall do they get. Was it sold as an annual or a perennial?





Sunflower plants that produce the seeds that some like to eat, usually only bloom once. But I think you might be dealing with another species... In any case, you don't need another plant to create flowers, but it might need more light.
