If I plant a roasted, salted sunflower seed.....will I get any results?

Im always eating DAVID sunflower seeds and I noticed a few days ago that the flowers outside my building had died. I got to wondering if I planted a few of my sunflower seeds, and cared for it ofcourse, would actual flowers grow. Maybe a silly question...but I was just wondering....

If I plant a roasted, salted sunflower seed.....will I get any results?
nope because its already proceced and all !
Reply:No, roasting killed the seed inside, it will not grow. Try a seed from a fresh pumpkin, squash or watermelon.....they will grow.
Reply:It would take a miracle for the salted seed to germinate. Go for it though, remember that miracles do happen.
Reply:No. Roasting kills the live seed.
Reply:Not a chance. I was eating a grapefruit a while back though and noticed some of the seeds in it had already sprouted inside the grapefruit ! Freaky! So I planted them and now I have a little grapefruit orchard growing ! Actually they are about 2 inches tall....
Reply:once it was roasted the seed was nutralized and no longer able too accept fertilization.
Reply:The heat it took to roast the seeds killed them so they can never grow.
Reply:if it was roasted and salted then the seed was destroyed obviously
