Sunflower fields in Italy?

I've seen a lot of pictures of sunflower fields in Italy, and I was just wondering, if I wanted to see these....where would I go, and what time of year?

Sunflower fields in Italy?
Mid-summer in Tuscany. It is famous for these fields and they are something to behold!
Reply:Tuscany of course....

especially the hills near Siena, Firenze...

you must go there during summertime...

(personally speaking I think that the best landscapes are located outside Siena, but other people may disagree...)
Reply:you should come to Tuscany..in the so-called Chiantishire (the brits re-named it)...

summer time. not august (too hot)

hire a car and drive trough the valleys and the hills of Tuscany. you'll love it as I do. since the first moment I opened my eyes in this piece of Heaven on earth.

(I'm from Tuscany)

Reply:Tuscany (Siena, Florence, Pisa...) and Umbria (Perugia, Asisi..) (even if you can find some of these fields in other regions too) You have to come in summer, from June to August (July would be the best option)
