Sunflower seed cookies? Anyone know this brand, or at least how to make them?!!?

Well I was at HyVee yesterday, and in their "natural" or "organic" food section they had samples of these small (the package called them petite) sunflower seed cookies. I didn't think to read the ingredients, and I didn't read the package (how stupid of me!)..and i LOVED these cookies. omg they were amazing. The package was like a little bag and had light green coloring. that's all i remember about the product. Anyone have any idea what brand they were?

Also, these cookies were sooo good..i wanted to make some. like wow, they were amazing. it tasted like sugar cookies with sunflower seeds in them (tastes better than it sounds)..anyone have recipies for this kind of cookie?!

Why don't you call the store and ask them what brand they were. I'm sure they'll gladly tell you! Or, better yet, drive back to the store and just buy some!

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 very ripe medium bananas, peeled and mashed

1/2 cup butter, at room temperature

1/2 cup granulated white sugar

1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds

1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips or dried fruit

PREPARATION:

Whisk together flour and baking soda in a small bowl. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat bananas, oil, and sugar on medium speed until thoroughly combined.

Add flour mixture half at a time, beating to incorporate. Fold in sunflower seeds and chocolate chips.

Refrigerate cookie dough for 45 minutes to 1 hour. (Cold dough helps keep the cookies from spreading.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with Silpats or parchment paper.

Scoop about 1 teaspoonful of cookie dough for each cookie and place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.

Yield: about 36 cookies
